I want to share some few things to consider if you are looking for Mr. Perfect at the dating pages.
I believe that we are taken for stupid because we leave them think we are. As you don't know who you are talking to. It's difficult to conclude if the one you are talking to is real or not.
Well, nobody said it would be easy. You can not treat them as if each one is a scammer but you can keep your eyes open.
No matter how smart they think they are, they always let something out or they relax and leave their shield down for a moment, that is the instant you must take advantage and look for signals of who this "man" could be.
To be a scammer is not only a men privilege, I am sad to say that there are lots of woman scammers too.
When you meet someone on the dating pages you normally look for the most handsome ones first and the scammers use other people pictures so you never are sure that the guy is real or you are talking to another guy whom is using an innocent 's picture. They know us.
I don't say you must discharge the handsome ones but look for signals girls, look carefully.
If the guy is too good to be real he probably is not.
Use your common sense, What the hell will be a handsome man in a dating page? Something is wrong with him? Why is he there? He must have hundreds of woman trying to catch him, why is he going to use that site to look for a woman?
It is self preservation. Ask yourself those questions.
Watch the picture careful, see if you find something out of place., like that he is using a wedding band, or that he has a tag with another people name, or there's some inscription in the some corner of the picture.
A divorced man get ride of his ring as soon as he can, normally a widow too, so if the guy in the picture use a wedding band you have a clear signal of alert.
Look at this one for example:
Did you see the text on the bottom right side? that say : Abubakar Seddlque (RFE/RL)
That is a radio station, Abubakar Seddleque is a journalist from this radio.
My first idea is this is another fake person.
then look at his uniform. He says in his profile that he is a soldier. ma be he is but for what country Uk or USA ? I'm not sure of that. I think he is British.
- I am phillip jones by name and i'm 55yrs by age with a kid .....i got married for years but lost my wife last two years...am 5'9 feet tall and above average and I was born in essex and raised in houston, texas and my race is Colorado and My heritage is English, may be u may ask what i mean by my heritage is English its because our Colonial masters was the British and my dad is a British man, my religion is a Christian, never mind about me been a Christian so let us see what the future would hold for me and u.I am a military man and i studied psychology in the military. Talking about who i am;am that easy going type, adventurous, romantic, ambitious and have a very good sense of humor..
I think one my first questions would be if he is a USA soldier? In What base he is and what rank he is.
You can learn about rank researching in the internet, look at how many stars he has in his uniform.
This one has two and for the way they look he is a British officer.
According to Wikipedia the stars and rank look different for each country. Well look at this, the guy at the picture is a British officer. Look at this example:
English: British Army Maj. Gen. Nick Carter, cropped from 100309-D-7203C-020 U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates meets with British army Maj. Gen. Nick Carter, the commander of Regional Command South, during a visit to Kandahar, Afghanistan, March 9, 2010. (DoD photo by Cherie Cullen/Released)
You can have in consideration that these are the stars and how they look in the USA uniforms.
The rank is important too.

Watch carefully when you see the pictures: Here are soldiers of three different nationalities and ranks
the scammer says he is John D Milner a US army Command Sargent Major
4th Brigade Combat team : 2-508.82 nd Parachute infantry regiment
If you look at the picture you see he is from Canada
USA and Canada
Canada soldiers
British officer (3 stars)
British soldier
This one is officer Chandler Smith but the scammer changed his name to Chandler Doglas, and he uses a wedding band too
English soldiers
Another thing here, these scammers had only one picture in their profile.
Well girls, It seems that in this Era we'll have to turn into a mix of James Bond and Mata Harri to find a good husband.
You must arrive to your own conclusions, you are the one who decide if you want to be scammed or not. Be alert, read the signals, educate yourself, Don't let they win or don't complain later. They can be creative and intelligent but the last word is your. You are the one in control you can choose between be scammed or not.
Be careful girls and share your experiences .
